Rotary kiln head and tail seal are critical spare parts for cement rotary kiln, used to seal the gap between rotating kiln cylinder and static housing.
They prevent hot gas, dust leakage and block cold air ingress into kiln, improving thermal efficiency and reducing fuel consumption.
Both kiln head seal and kiln tail seal adopt flexible fish-scale sealing structure. The sealing sheets are made of stainless steel outer skin with high temperature resistant graphite / ceramic fiber filling inside.
Due to different working conditions: Kiln head has higher material temperature and coarse dust; Kiln tail works under negative pressure with corrosive flue gas. Therefore, the assembly size, width and fixing structure of kiln head seal and kiln tail seal will be different, they are not directly interchangeable.
